Scaling and polishing are non-surgical process ,involving deep cleaning (procedure of removing tartar or plaque or calculus between and from the teeth) and removing the stains ( polishing ) from the tooth surface.

BONE LOSS : M ost adults needs atleast one x ray per year to chech the hidden bone loss with age causing detachment of roots to the bone causing loosening of gums , inflammation and bacterial involvement.
